CodeGear C++ compilers
As Codegear Technical Partner we support ACE/TAO/CIAO using the CodeGear C++ compiler.
Currently we are searching for funding to keep the port maintained. Without funding we have to end the maintenance and remove the support later this fall.
C++ Builder 2009
ACE/TAO/CIAO x.6.6 is the first release that works with CB2009. Currently we are maintaining ACE/TAO/CIAO for CB2009 only.
C++ Builder 2007
This compiler has been supported until x.6.9. We require that Update Pack 2 is installed.
C++ Builder 2006
This compiler has been supported until x.6.7. We require that Update Pack 2 is installed.
C++ Builder 6
This compiler has been supported until x.6.7. We require that Update Pack 4 is installed.
Borland C++ 5.5.1
This free version of the Borland compiler is supported until the x.4.1 release of ACE/TAO. After this ACE/TAO started to use MPC for generating the Borland makefiles and there are several compile problems at this moment. Because this environment is old we don't fix problems anymore for this compiler. If you need to have support for these compiler contact us.
C++ Builder 5
This is the same compiler as Borland C++ 5.5.1. The support is the same as for that compiler.
C++ Builder 4
This compiler has been supported but we haven't done builds in several years. See Borland C++ 5.5.1 for support details.
C++ Builder 3
ACE/TAO have never been ported to this compiler in the past. Upgrade to a newer version of the compiler or contact us.
CBuilderX 1
ACE/TAO have been ported to this compiler in the past. Upgrade to a newer version of the compiler or contact us.
CBuilderX 1 Preview
ACE/TAO have been ported to this compiler in the past. Upgrade to a newer version of the compiler or contact us.
Kylix 3
Kylix 3 was the Borland attempt to create a portable compiler and UI library that works on Linux and Windows. We have build with this compiler but we get several compile problems and most of the ACE tests fail. It is our advice not to use Kylix 3.
